Trump: The True Senile

A synopsis in The Week of an article by David A. Graham that first appeared The Atlantic more than makes the case that for all the charges of Senility that are constantly heaped upon President Biden — he stumbles, slurs his words, etc. — at 77 Trump is actually the more Senile of the two[i]. In short, he’s nothing less than Mentally Decrepit.

Thus, Trump constantly mixes up and confuses who he ran against in the 2020 Presidential Election. It was Biden not Obama. He also claims that he beat Bush “who got us into the Middle East”, thereby confusing Jeb with George W. For another, he wrongly attributes China’s population of 1.4 Billion to North Korea.

As Graham notes, aided by his general appearance of heavily dyed hair and orange makeup, Trump’s “loud bluster makes him sound vigorous” and thus hides his Senility.

If old age is an issue for President Biden, it’s even more for Trump. Indeed, he needs to be called out for his “errors and lapses in judgement”, not to denigrate the elderly, but to defeat a candidate that’s grossly Unqualified and a Threat in every which way.
